New York City Children's Center-Bronx Campus currently offers a child and adolescent inpatient externship. Please see attached file for more information on the program.

Scheduling (e.g., required/optional days of week, # hrs per day, total hours per week, flexibility in scheduling):
- For the inpatient externship: 20 hours per week to be completed in 2 1/2 days. Tuesday mornings are required for seminar on psychoanalytic theory and group supervision. Friday mornings are required for Psychology Rounds and an extern process group. Other work days are flexible.
Required level of readiness (any prior experiences or level of training required for applicants):
Prior clinical experience is required. Must have completed courses in psychological assessment.
Preferred level of readiness(any prior experiences preferred for applicants):
- 3rd, 4th, 5th year preferred.

- Interviews will be scheduled in accordance with the Externship Guidelines after the January 21st submission date. Interviews for the inpatient externship will take place at the 1000 Waters Place campus.
