Trainees are required to commit at least two days per week. There are multiple training sites, and scheduling is site dependent.

Required level of readiness (any prior experiences or level of training required for applicants):

Trainees at all levels are welcome to apply, but we prefer trainees to have at least basic assessment courses, and a course in neuropsychology.

  • Summary of neuroscience/neuropsychology classes
  • Two professional references
  • Letter from the head of your doctoral training program attesting to your good standing in the program and your readiness for practicum training

Estimated hours/week of didactics: Externs are welcome to attend the neuropsychology, neuroscience and neuroradiology seminars, which are part of our APA approved internship, as well as Neurology and Psychiatry Grand Rounds, and lectures at the Feinstein Institute of Medical Research. Participation is encouraged but not required.
