==Other Comments: The National Institute for the Psychotherapies has offered this externship since 1996. Externs receive both individual and group supervision from highly experienced psychoanalysts. They may participate in the many colloquia, conferences and forums offered under the auspices of NIP. We are integrating this year (2017) with the Trauma Program at NIP which will afford externs the opportunity to attend seminars on trauma, view video tapes of EMDR work and screen potential patients for the Trauma Program.
