The Bio-Behavioral Institute is an outpatient treatment, research, and training facility specializing in the treatment of OCD and its Related Disorders. Located in Great Neck, N.Y., the Bio-Behavioral Institute offers various levels of training opportunities including externship, internship, and post-doctoral positions. As part of their experience at the Bio-Behavioral Institute, students are exposed to a full range of clinical and research activities including in-vivo exposures, home visits, research publication and protocol development, as well as the unique opportunity to participate in our intensive outpatient OCD and Related Disorders treatment programs. In addition, we offer DBT programs, including weekly consultation meetings, phone coaching, individual, and skills groups. Externs will have opportunity to train and co-lead skills groups, as well as participate in our monthly OCD support group.

Preferences: Prefer 3rd year externship candidates, however will consider 2nd year externship candidates

Interviews are conducted in an individual format. Interviews last approximately 30-45mins.
